US FOREIGN MINISTER RECOGNISES SALAI MANG HRE LIAN FOR HUMAN RIGHTS WORK

Lamtluang Online News: The US Foreign Minister has awarded Salai Mang Hre Lian, Project Manager of the Chin Human Rights Organisation (CHRO), for his outstanding work in promoting human rights in Myanmar.

This recognition is a testament to Salai Mang Hre Lian's tireless efforts in advocating for the rights of the Myanmar people, particularly in the Chin State.

The award ceremony, held on International Human Rights Day (10 December), was organised by the US Foreign Ministry.

Salai Mang Hre Lian was among nine individuals from around the world, including Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Colombia, Eswatini, Ghana, Kuwait, and Kyrgyzstan, who received the award for their remarkable contributions to human rights.

Salai Mang Hre Lian has been instrumental in promoting human rights in Myanmar, particularly in the Chin State, where he has worked tirelessly to document human rights abuses and advocate for the rights of the Chin people.

His work has been recognised by the US government, which has acknowledged his efforts in promoting human rights and democracy in Myanmar.

The CHRO has been at the forefront of promoting human rights in Myanmar, and Salai Mang Hre Lian's award is a testament to the organisation's tireless efforts in advocating for the rights of the Myanmar people.
