Regarding agriculture production procurement, the Chief Minister said, "As promised during our campaign, we are setting up collection centres where farmers can sell their produce at a price higher than the government rate."
Home Minister K. Sapdanga added, "In 2013, the new government allowed fireworks during Christmas and New Year's, leading to increased air pollution, which caused significant difficulties for those with respiratory problems and also led to a significant increase in the Air Pollution Index. Consequently, the government has banned fireworks altogether. We urge citizens to support this initiative."
