Lamtluang Online News: On 27 December 2024, fresh clashes erupted between Meitei and Kuki-Zo groups in Manipur, resulting in four Meitei individuals sustaining injuries. The clashes occurred in the areas of Sanasabi, Thamnapokpi, and Tuiching Saiboul, situated on the border of Imphal East District and Kangpokpi District.

According to reports, Meitei groups, including the Arambai Tenggol and various Meitei organisations, launched an attack on Kuki-Zo inhabited areas at approximately 10:45 am IST. However, the Kuki-Zo groups successfully defended themselves against the attack. The clashes continued intermittently throughout the day and late into the night, finally subsiding the next morning.

Among the injured Meitei individuals, one was identified as a member of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), while another was a member of the Arambai Tenggol. A Manipur Police Commando, K.
