Lamtluang Online News: A report by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) has revealed that over 300 civilians have been killed in Myanmar over the past four months due to aerial bombings and heavy artillery attacks by the military council.
Among the 237 people killed in airstrikes, 47 were children under the age of 18, with the highest number of casualties reported in Rakhein State (88) and Shan State (43).
Additionally, 19 children under the age of 18 were among the 104 people killed by heavy artillery, with the highest number of casualties reported in the Sagaing region (32) and Rakhein (20).
The report covers the period from August 1 to November 30, and the AAPP stated that the names of all the deceased have been documented.
The RFA media could not independently verify the information, and when contacted, Military Council spokesperson Gen. Zaw Min Tun did not respond to their queries.
