MIZORAM YOUTH COMMISSION CHAIRMAN FAREWELLS YOUTHS FOR PROJECT BUNIYAAD

Lamtluang Online News: On 22nd November 2024, Pu Malsawmzuala Ralte, Chairman of the Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC), bid farewell to 26 Mizo youths (9 males and 17 females) who will undergo training in Hotel Management (Food & Beverages) under Project Buniyaad. The training is a collaborative effort between the MYC and Honda India Foundation.

During the farewell ceremony, the MYC Chairman encouraged the youths to be diligent and honest in their work, and to uphold the values of hard work and dedication. He also reminded them to be good ambassadors of the Mizo community and to make a positive impact wherever they go.

The Chairman further advised the youths to be adaptable and to learn from their experiences. He also encouraged them to strive for excellence and to be committed to their work.

The youths who will undergo training have been selected through a rigorous interview process. They will be trained in various hotels across India, including Fairmont (Udaipur), Choki Dhani (Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Indore), Orange Tiger (Goa), Sarvar Hotel (Hyderabad), and Status Club (Kanpur).

Project Buniyaad Hotel Management (Food & Beverages) Training was launched by Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma on 18th September 2024 at the MYC Auditorium. Under this project, the MYC is currently conducting F&B Training in Aizawl and Lunglei. The third batch of training is scheduled to commence in Aizawl in December, and the trained youths will be placed in top hotels in India.
