Lamtluang Online News: Pu Nampibou Marinmai, IIS, the News Director of Doordarshan Aizawl, visited Lunglei on 21st November 2024, where he met with various government officials and visited notable locations.
During his visit, Pu Marinmai met with Lunglei SP Pu J. Lalmuankima to discuss ways to improve collaboration between Doordarshan and the police department in disseminating news and information. He emphasized the importance of working together to provide accurate and reliable news to the public.
Pu Marinmai also visited the District I&PR office, where he interacted with the staff and discussed ways to promote Lunglei as a tourist destination. He suggested that the government and local authorities should work together to develop and promote the town's scenic spots, such as Lung-lei, and historical landmarks like the BCM Sethlun church, one of the oldest churches in Mizoram.
