Lamtluang Online News: Rebecca Saimawii is a celebrated Mizo singer, known for her soulful voice and captivating performances. Her love song hit list includes popular tracks such as "Phai ram chul hnu", "Zawlkhaw di tleitir", "Zaleng hei zawng zingah", and "Ka phu lo che". Her Gospel song hit list features hits like "Khaw thianghlim Jerusalem", "Damna kim", "Min hmangaihna ropui", and "Hawilopar mawi Isua".
Rebecca Saimawii released her debut love song album, "Zai rimawi", in 1989, which was recorded at OTTO recording studio. She followed this up with another love song album, "Ka thlang ber che", in 1998. In addition to her love song albums, Rebecca Saimawii has also released two Gospel albums and a Christmas songs album.
Apart from her musical achievements, Rebecca Saimawii is also recognized for her philanthropic efforts. She holds the record for the highest female blood donor among the Mizo community in India, having donated blood an impressive 84 times.
Currently, Rebecca Saimawii resides in Bengaluru, where she works as a Music facilitator at Oakridge International School. She is also a certified advanced personal trainer.
