Lamtluang Online News: On the evening of 25th November 2024, Aizawl Police Station duty personnel seized a large quantity of fire crackers and sparklers in Dawrpui Veng, Aizawl. According to the police, the fire crackers were seized from a godown in Dawrpui Veng, and the owner, Sahidul Alam (28), son of Kamar Uddin from Karimganj, Assam, was also arrested. The police are investigating whether anyone else is involved in the case.
The seized fire crackers and sparklers consisted of 36 different types, valued at approximately ₹9.03 lakhs. The accused will be produced in court on 26 November 2024.
