The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including district officials, Indian Railway authorities, and Virtual Committee members.

Railway officials aim to extend the line to Mualkhang by March 25, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the project's timeline. Additionally, repairs to landslide-damaged tracks in Assam have been completed, enabling goods trains to operate, with passenger trains expected to resume soon.
