Lamtluang Online News: Vanlalṭanpuii, daughter of LP Sanglura (L), Bazar Veng, Serchhip, was crowned Miss Mizoram 2026 Serchhip District following the local selection held in Serchhip. She will represent Serchhip district in the Miss Mizoram 2026 pageant.
The Miss Mizoram 2026 contest is organised jointly by Zonet Cable TV and the Mizoram Journalist Association (MJA). The Serchhip district selection and official announcement took place on March 3, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Serchhip Press Club. The crowning ceremony was conducted by MJA Serchhip District President Kapliana Pachuau, while Paul L. Khuma officially declared Vanlalṭanpuii as the Serchhip District winner.
Vanlalṭanpuii, 24 years old and 5’7” tall, hails from Bazar Veng, Serchhip, and currently works with the Child Helpline Unit under the Serchhip District Child Protection Unit.
The district-level selections are conducted by MJA district units to choose representatives from across Mizoram for the Miss Mizoram 2026 pageant. Candidates selected at the district level gain direct entry into the main rounds without auditioning. The audition round is scheduled for March 4, while the Grand Finale will be held on April 24 at R Dengṭhua Hall, Mualpui, Aizawl.
