Lamtluang Online News: Anthony Lalchhuanmawia, son of Lalhmangaiha from Armed Veng South, Aizawl, successfully completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) after defending his viva voce on 6 March 2026 (Friday) at the Department of Humanities and Social Science, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
According to information received by Lamtluang Online News, Anthony Lalchhuanmawia completed his BA in Philosophy from Pachhunga University College. He later obtained both his MA and MPhil from the Department of Philosophy, University of Hyderabad. He has now completed his PhD from IIT Bombay. His PhD thesis is titled Reconciling Politics and Philosophy in Hannah Arendt: Against the Singularity of Philosophy.
In the field of academics, Anthony Lalchhuanmawia has already produced notable research contributions during his studies and has also presented a research paper in the United Kingdom. At present, he is serving as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Pachhunga University College.
