Lamtluang Online News: The Mizo National Front (MNF) today, 8 June 2026, announced practising advocate Zothansangi Hmar of Aizawl College Veng as its candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election. She currently serves as Treasurer of the MNF Legal Board.
The election for Mizoram's Rajya Sabha seat is scheduled to be held on 18 June 2026 (Thursday). The Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament will be elected by the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
