Lamtluang Online News: On 28 November 2024, Environment, Forests and Climate Change (EF&CC) department officials seized fresh and smoked wild animal meat, as well as killed birds, from Buichali market in Mizoram. Following the seizure, Lalrinpuia, a resident of Sairang Vengsang, was arrested on 30 November 2024 for allegedly shooting the animals. He was found to be in possession of approximately 5 kilograms of Himalayan serow meat, as well as a silai Ulhbun, a type of hunting gun. He was taken into custody and produced before the Aizawl District Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Pi Lianmawii Hauhnar, who ordered his detention at the Central Jail.

MYANMAR MILITARY ATTACKS RESULT IN THREE CIVILIAN DEATHS AND 13 INJURIES
Lamtluang Online News, December 3, 2024 : A recent surge in attacks by Myanmar's military has resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injured 13 others within a week, according to reports from the National Unity Government's (NUG) Northern Command.
The NUG reported that from November 23 to 29, the military launched over 75 drone and artillery attacks on various towns, resulting in the deaths and injuries of civilians.
In one incident, a woman lost her leg in a bomb attack by military soldiers in Taninthari township, YanPhu village on November 29.
The NUG's Northern Command condemned the military's actions as war crimes and reported that 22 civilians were arrested by military soldiers during the same period.
Clashes between military soldiers and civilian resistance forces have resulted in the deaths of over 50 military soldiers between November 23 and 29, according to the NUG.
The military's spokesperson, Gen. Zaw Min Tun, was unavailable for comment when contacted by media team.
The recent escalation in violence has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of civilians in Myanmar.
MIZORAM THRASH MEGHALAYA IN SYED MUSTAQ ALI TROPHY
