MSU PRESIDENT SAMUEL ZORAMTHANPUIA DETAINED

Lamtluang Online News, November 8, 2024, Aizawl, Mizoram: Mizo Students Union (MSU) President Samuel Zoramthanpuia has been taken to Aizawl District and Session Court and detained at Central Jail. Samuel was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on November 8, 2024, for corruption charges. Later, the Aizawl Police Station arrested him again for kidnapping and extortion charges. He was subsequently taken to court, and the court ordered his detention at Central Jail. The case filed against the MSU President is non-bailable.
