BSF ORGANISES WEAPON EXHIBITION FOR NCC CADETS

Lamtluang Online News: The 20 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF), Zotlang, Lunglei organised a weapon exhibition on 13 December 2024 for the benefit of National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets. The exhibition, which was held at the Battalion Headquarters in Zotlang, showcased modern weapons and equipment used by the BSF. Around 150 NCC cadets attended the event, where they gained valuable insight into various weapons, border security measures, and the BSF's responsibilities in maintaining internal security. The event was inaugurated by 20 Bn BSF Commandant Pu Neeraj Sharma and 2nd Mizo Bn NCC Commanding Officer Col. Aman Chowdhary. The organisers expressed their hope that the exhibition would inspire the NCC cadets to join the BSF and serve the nation.

WOMAN'S BODY FOUND IN REST SHED OF THUAMPUI VENGLAI

Lamtluang Online News, 15 December 2024: A woman's body was discovered in the rest shed of the Presbyterian Church in Thuampui Venglai, Aizawl, around 7:30 am today. The body has been identified as Lalsiamthari, aged 44, daughter of Thangchungnunga, from Zemabawk. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Initial investigation by police found no visible injuries on the body. A case has been registered by the police.
