According to the Electric Veng YMA leaders, a neighbouring woman visited their home on the evening of 13th to sell vegetables. When she asked Vanbiaklala about his wife's whereabouts, he claimed she was sleeping. However, the woman discovered Runi lying in bed with a pillow covered in blood and immediately took her to the hospital.
