Lamtluang Online News, 13 December 2024: The Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), the apex body of Mizoram Students Association, has examined the alleged irregularities in the recruitment of various posts under the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) and found that there were indeed irregularities in the recruitment process. After conducting an inquiry and gathering information from various sources, including job applicants, the MZP has discovered that the MPSC had advertised for the post of Entomologist in the Health and Family Welfare Department, and 22 candidates had qualified for the exam.

However, only five candidates were asked to submit their documents for verification, and three candidates were later called for a personal interview after six months. The MZP has demanded that the MPSC explain the irregularities in the recruitment process of Entomologist and Veterinary Asst. Sergion and take action against those responsible.

The MZP has urged the state government to intervene and ensure that the recruitment process is fair and transparent. The MZP has warned that if the government fails to take action by 20 December, it will be forced to take further action to protect the interests of job applicants.
