'BROTHER JOHN' SUMO CAB PROVIDES FREE RIDES TO CANCER PATIENTS

Zadingliana (36), a resident of College Veng, Lawngtlai, and owner-driver of the "Brother John" sumo/maxi cab, has been offering free transportation to cancer patients.

For the past five years, Zadingliana has been driving patients to Aizawl and other locations, waiving his fare.

"I transport cancer patients for free, regardless of whether I know them or not," he shared. "Sometimes, even those who can afford to pay travel without charge."

When asked about his motivation, Zadingliana humbly said, "Cancer affects everyone, rich or poor, young or old. Seeing their struggles inspires me to help."

Zadingliana's family relies on his sumo/maxi cab business for livelihood. He is married to Hmingthanzauvi and has five children.

The usual fare for the Lawngtlai-Aizawl route is around Rs. 1,000. Zadingliana's kindness has earned him countless blessings.

May his selfless acts inspire others.
