22 October 2024: The Aizawl Two Wheeler Taxi Association (ATTA) stated that they will continue their services as usual, despite the Mizoram Commercial Vehicle Union (MCVU) announcing a boycott.

According to ATTA's press release, MCVU's directive to halt operations without prior discussion will not be supported.

ATTA explained that two-wheeler taxi operators are mostly young people and those struggling financially, with many operating vehicles that aren't their own.

While acknowledging MCVU's influence, ATTA clarified that they cannot support MCVU due to the majority of their members' livelihood considerations.
